The PlayMakers Project is an interactive leadership program exclusive to F.O.R. high school players that aims to grow leaders who will serve the local Asian Pacific American community. In the past, project attendees have learned about leadership styles unique to them, Asian American history, and have met community leaders, including U.S. Congressman Ted Lieu and California State Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi. The project also promotes the importance of mentorship by matching 6th-8th grade players with younger players in group activities. It also celebrates F.O.R. coaches, parent volunteers, and players with annual leadership awards.
